I hope you enjoy my easy, step-by-step, Asian Potsticker recipe. Your family will love this potsticker recipe and will be asking you to make them again and again. Asian Potsticker Recipe: 12 ounces of ground pork (you can use chicken and turkey if you are keeping it light) 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper (white pepper is even better) 1 TBS rice cooking wine 1 TBS corn starch 4 green onions chopped 2-3 small bok choy chopped (you can also use napa cabbage) 2-3 TBS cilantro (optional) 2-3 cloves garlic minced 2-3 tsp ginger minced 1 TBS oyster sauce 1 TBS light soy sauce 1/2 TBS sesame oil Sesame seeds to sprinkle on top along with some green onions Dumpling wrappers (I used the left left over wonton wrappers from my cream cheese wonton recipe) Water to seal the edges makes 36-40 potstickers Cooking oil Directions: Add salt, black pepper, rice cooking wine and cornstarch to the ground pork and mix. Add minced ginger, minced garlic, chopped baby bokchoy, cilantro and green onions to meat mixture and mix. Add light soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil to the meat mixture and mix. Set aside. Open your package of dumpling wrappers and sealed the edges with water. Add 1 TBS of meat mixture to middle of wrapper and sealed the edges. Make sure there are no air pockets. Then crimp the edges of the wrapper and set aside. This recipe will make 36-40 potstickers. You can lay them flat on a cookie tray in the freezer for an hour and then bag them in a ziplock bag and cook them at a later time when you want to eat them or cook them right away. I don’t have a steamer so I used a large pan and added 1 TBS of cooking oil on medium heat and placed the potstickers on one side and once it gets brown, I added in 1/4 cup water and placed a lid to steam the potstickers. Turn the temperature down to low medium to make sure the meat cooks all the way through. Once the water evaporates, remove the lid and the remaining oil will fry up the potstickers. Enjoy! Sauce: 1 TBS rice vinegar 4 TBS soy sauce 1/4 tsp garlic chili oil 1 tsp sesame oil 1 green onion sesame seeds Directions: Mix rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic chili oil.
