Learn how to make an easy recipe for Cream Cheese Wontons. This is a great appetizer/snack recipe. You can even make it for Super Bowl Sunday. This Cream Cheese Wontons recipe will not disappoint. My only regret is that I didn't make more! Enjoy! Cream Cheese Wontons Recipe: 1 package of cream cheese (8 ounces) at room temperature 1/8 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp salt 2 green onions, chopped 1 egg 1 package of wontons Vegetable/Peanut Oil to fry the wontons Sweet chili Sauce for the dip Directions: 1) Mix cream cheese with an electric/stand mixer or a wooden spoon. 2) Combine garlic powder and salt into the cream cheese and mix. 3) Add chopped green onions into the cream cheese mixture and combine and set aside. 4) Mix one large egg and set it to the side. This will help seal your cream cheese wontons. 5) Take 1 tsp of of your cream cheese filling and place it in the middle of your wonton wrapper. 6) Seal the two edges of your wonton with the egg wash. 7) Fold over the wonton and crimp the edges to seal the filling. Make sure not to create any air pocket. This will make 22 cream cheese wontons. Enjoy!
